Como are looking towards Brighton and Hove Albion defender Igor or Fenerbahce veteran Diego Carlos, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The Lariani have been some of the biggest spenders in Serie A this summer, as they try to build on last season’s impressive campaign under coach Cesc Fabregas.

They aren’t finished yet, as they are seeking reinforcements to bring experience to the defence too.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, there are two names on their list for the role.

The first is Igor, who is no stranger to Serie A after his time with SPAL and Fiorentina from 2019 until the €16.5m sale to Brighton in July 2023.

The other name is Diego Carlos, the 32-year-old Brazilian who only came to Fenerbahce in January from Aston Villa in a deal worth €11.5m.

His previous clubs include Estoril, FC Nantes and Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also report that Como will extend the contract of Alessandro Gabrielloni, then loan him out to Juve Stabia.
