Oliver Baumann will be unavailable for selection as TSG Hoffenheim take on Borussia Monchengladbach this Saturday.

The Sinsheim club announced the news via social media stating that a concussion suffered against BVB last weekend is the cause.

Baumann was involved in a controversial coming together with Dortmund’s Carney Chukwuemeka in the build-up to Waldemar Anton’s winning goal.

Match referee Benjamin Brand consulted VAR for potential foul play at the time before awarding the goal as Hoffenheim fell to a 3-2 defeat.

Second choice shot-stopper Luca Philipp, who has already played 5 Bundesliga games this season, is expected to deputise.
