Before a visit to Naples in the Champions League, Eintracht Frankfurt face Heidenheim in another away fixture. Frankfurt won all the previous five head-to-head fixtures between the sides.
Sirlord Conteh and Mikkel Kaufmann – the players who scored the goals in Heidenheim’s solitary win so far – are still out with injuries for the hosts. Frankfurt rested some players with one eye on another midweek fixture. Elye Wahi gets a rare start in attack in place of Jonathan Burkardt.
