Official team news has just been released for Die Schwarzgelben who welcome Scottish champions Celtic to the Westfalenstadion for Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League.

With exactly an hour to go until tonight’s kick-off, Borussia Dortmund head coach Nuri Şahin has announced his starting eleven to take on Celtic who make the trip to the Rührpott of Northwest Germany.

After a thrilling 4-2 win over neighbours VfL Bochum last Friday, BVB’s Turkish boss has opted to stick rather than twist from that night, with no alterations made to his side that took Kleinesderby bragging rights.

Gregor Kobel starts between the posts, with Yan Couto at right-back, a centre-half pairing of Anton and Schlotterbeck, with Julian Ryerson filling in on the left. Emre Can captains the side with midfield partner Pascal Groß. Julian Brandt is flanked by Adeyemi and Gittens, while Serhou Guirassy leads the line.

As for the visitors from the green side of Glasgow, Brendan Rodgers’ team come into the game in white-hot form with 9 wins in as many games across all competitions, while scoring 33 and conceding just 4 goals.

A thumping 6-0 win over St.Johnstone sends the Hoops into tonight’s game full of confidence, with the same eleven starting from Saturday’s victory. Recognisable names include Arne Engels in midfield formerly of Augsburg, as well as Nicolas Kühn who emerged from the Bayern Munich academy.

Official lineups below:

Borussia Dortmund (4-2-3-1): Kobel – Couto, Anton, Schlotterbeck, Ryerson – Can (c), Groß – Adeyemi, Brandt, Gittens – Guirassy

Celtic FC (4-3-3): Schmeichel – Johnston, Trusty, Scales, Taylor – Engels, McGregor (c), Bernardo – Kühn, Furuhashi, Maeda
