On the contrary, Stuttgart are unbeaten in the last five in the league. Nonetheless, Sebastian Hoeneß’s side are wounded after a disappointing home draw with Union Berlin and a defeat in the Europa League against AS Roma.

With another Thursday night fixture awaiting them next week, Hoeneß makes some changes to deal with the fixture congestion. Badredine Bouanani gets a rare start, while Ermedin Demirovic starts ahead of Deniz Undav up front.
