Confirmed lineups: Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Rigas FS

The team sheets for this evening’s Europa League duel between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rigas FS are in.

Eintracht Frankfurt welcome Rigas FS to the Deutsche Bank Park this evening for a round three match-up in the 2024/25 Europa League. SGE trainer Dino Toppmöller makes four changes to the XI that lined up against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the league last Saturday. 

Can Uzun – who was promised his first Eintracht start at a presser yesterday – starts over Mario Götze. Igor Matanovic – also promised minutes yesterday – gives Hugo Ekitiké a break.

Mahmoud Dahoud also fils in for Hugo Larsson in midfield while Aurele Amenda takes over for Robin Koch. Toppmöller’s tactics aren’t exactly easy to read, but a repeat of the 4-2-2-2 formation used against Leverkusen seems likely. 

Uzun’s placement will prove key. A 5-3-2, 3-4-2-1, or 5-1-2-2 could also crystallize once the team gets set. Only the top axis of Marmoush and Matanoic counts as certain.
