Confirmed lineups: FC Augsburg vs. Borussia Dortmund

Here are the confirmed lineups for the clash of Augsburg and Dortmund to commence Matchday 9 of the Bundesliga.

In what has been a hectic week for Borussia Dortmund, they face FC Augsburg at the WWK Arena in Bavaria tonight. Kick-off is in a little under an hour’s time away at 8:30pm CET. 

Both teams’ DFB-Pokal fortunes were slightly different midweek. Dortmund required penalties to defeat Eintracht Frankfurt, while Augsburg were dumped out at home by VfL Bochum. 

The visitors give Pascal Groß a rare start in midfield, while Maxi Beier fills in at left wing-back. Carney Chukwuemeka joins Brandt and Guirassy in attack for BVB. 

Meanwhile, Augsburg call upon Keven Schloterbeck in defence with Chrislain Matsima fit to start. Elvis Rexhbecaj gets a central midfield role. See the full lineups below:
