Confirmed Lineups: Flamengo vs. Bayern Munich
By Ultan Corcoran@UltanCorcoran

Official team news has just been released for Bayern Munich who face Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup knockout stage. Here are the confirmed lineups.

With just under an hour to go until kick-off, Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has announced his starting eleven to take on their Round of 16 opponents Flamengo in the FIFA Club World Cup at 10:00pm (CET) this evening at the Hard Rock Stadium.

There is a lot on the line from a Bayern perspective knowing a win will guarantee them a place in the quarter-final stage. If they make it that far, a meeting with Paris Saint-Germain awaits them after the reigning Champions League winners comfortably dispatched Inter Miami 4-0 earlier this afternoon.

Tonight, the Bavarians start with experienced captain Manuel Neuer between the sticks. Head coach Kompany opts for a regular four-man backline with Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanisic either side of centre-halves Jonathan Tah and Dayot Upamecano.

Moving into the middle third, Joshua Kimmich returns to partner Leon Goretzka in the double-six pivot. Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman take to the flanks either side of Michael Olise. Meanwhile, Harry Kane spearheads the Bayern Munich attack.

Flamengo somewhat emerged as shock winners of Group D which included Chelsea. The Brazilian side line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Gerson as the skipper and their domestic top scorer Giorgian de Arrascaeta the biggest threat in his traditional number 10 role.

Official lineups below.
