Confirmed Lineups: Germany Women v France Women

The lineups are out for the clash that will decide the last semi-finalists of Euro 2025.

Italy, England and Spain have already booked their place for the midweek semis in the Women’s Euros. France and Germany will battle tonight for the chance to play the World Cup champions on Wednesday.

Christian Wück had to come up with solutions for the left-back conundrum with the absence of Giulia Gwinn (injury) and Carlotta Wamser (suspension). Bayern’s 20-year-old defender Franziska Kett will play at left-back for her first appearance of the tournament.

The 2016 Olympics gold medalist Kathrin Hendrich earned her first start as Germany reverted to 5-4-1. There were also more surprises on the side, including Giovanna Hoffmann starting instead of Lea Schüller. 

France’s Laurent Bonadei rested key players in their second group stage fixture against Wales before bringing back his strongest XI in a 5-2 win over the Netherlands. He now makes more changes to benefit from the vast experience of Griedge Mbock, Grace Geyoro and Kadidiatou Diani.
