Here’s how Mainz 05 and VfB Stuttgart line up for their clash in the DFB-Pokal this evening.

Having met last weekend in the Bundesliga, now Mainz 05 and VfB Stuttgart commence battle once again in the DFB-Pokal second round which kicks-off at 6pm CET. 

Both clubs managed to overcome 2.Bundesliga opposition in the first round back in August. Mainz squeezed past Dynamo Dresden 1-0, while reigning champions Stuttgart needed penalties to see off Eintracht Braunschweig after a 4-4 draw.
