Confirmed Lineups: SC Freiburg vs. Eintracht Frankfurt

Here are the lineups for Sunday’s first Bundesliga encounter between Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Before their midweek continental fixtures, Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt will lock horns, with only a point separating them in the standings. The visitors lost to league leaders Bayern Munich last time out, while Freiburg drew each of their previous three games in all competitions.

Frankfurt reverted to the back-three defense with Aurèle Amenda getting his first start. Jean-Matteo Bahoya will start this one from the bench, while Michy Batshuayi and Aurélio Buta couldn’t even make the squad. 

The hosts opted for a very attacking lineup, although Vincenzo Grifo is on the bench. Lucas Höler and Junior Adamu will play together in the attack, while Derry Scherhant also earned a place in the starting XI after his solid start to life in Freiburg.
