VfB Stuttgart have had their Champions League hopes brightened this week thanks to losses from Hoffenheim and a draw from Bayer Leverkusen.
The side from South Germany has lost once in 2026, but a disappointing draw with bottom side Heidenheim last week will prove some issues have been left untreated.
Wolfsburg are in the bottom three for the first time in multiple years at this stage of the season, with their last notable relegation scare coming in 2017-18 where they finished 16th but stayed up.
Here are the confirmed lineups for the Sunday afternoon game on the 1st March between VfB Stuttgart and VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
VfB Stuttgart (3-4-3):
Nübel – Hendricks, Jaquez, Jeltsch – Führich, Stiller, Karazor, El khannouss – Undav, Demirović, Leweling
VfL Wolfsurg (4-4-2):
Grabara – Koulierakis , Belocian, Jenz, Kumbedi – Majer, Eriksen, Gerhardt, Hensel – Amoura, Daghim
For Stuttgart, Jeff Chabot notably drops out of the starting lineup with Maximlian Mittelstädt also likely being rested after the Celtic tie.
Wolfsburg’s Denis Vavro has been dropped from the starting lineup despite multiple starts in January and February in the league.
