Confirmed lineups: VfL Wolfsburg vs. Mainz 05

The lineups have been announced ahead of this afternoon’s clash between Wolfsburg and Mainz.

Wolfsburg and Mainz got off to contrasting starts on opening weekend of the campaign, with the hosts winning 3-1 on the road against Heidenheim, while Mainz fell to a 1-0 defeat against newly promoted Köln.

Die Nullfünfer did go on to secure their place in the league phase of the UEFA Conference League on Thursday, though, with a 4-1 win against Rosenborg.

Ahead of this afternoon’s clash at Volkswagen Arena, the lineups have been announced, and are as follows: 

Wolfsburg – 4-2-3-1: Grabara – Fischer, Jenz, Koulierakis, Zehnter – Vini Souza, Arnold – Skov Olsen, Majer, Wimmer – Pejcinovic

Mainz – 3-4-2-1: Zentner – Da Costa, Bell, Kohr – Caci, Amiri, Sano, Mwene – Nordin, Lee – Weiper
