Confirmed: Union sign Stuttgart attacker on loan

1. FC Union Berlin have signed Wooyeong Jeong on loan from VfB Stuttgart.

Wooyeong Jeong will spend the rest of the 2024/25 season on loan at Union Berlin from VfB Stuttgart.

Union confirmed the arrival of the 24-year-old versatile attacker on Tuesday.

“We are delighted to welcome Wooyeong Jeong to 1. FC Union Berlin,” commented Union Berlin director of men’s professional fotoball Horst Heldt.

“His versatility and quality as a player were decisive factors in this signing. He not only brings technical ability, but also the right attitude and a great willingness to fit into any system. Jeong will add drive to our attacking play. His experience and his positive charisma will enrich our team.”

Jeong, who wasn’t in the squad for Stuttgart’s first two games of the season, said:
