The Coppa Italia kicks off in earnest on Friday, so check the schedule for the matches including Milan vs. Bari, Cremonese vs. Palermo, Parma vs. Pescara and Torino vs. Modena.

The tournament had a preliminary phase already, but this is the First Round proper and there are 12 Serie A teams involved at this stage.

The biggest of them is without doubt Milan, who make their debut under new coach Max Allegri, even if technically he won’t be on the touchline.

That is because he still needs to sit out the ban imposed after his behaviour in the 2024 Coppa Italia Final, which saw him sacked by Juventus a day later.

The Rossoneri will welcome Bari to San Siro on Sunday at 20.15 UK time (19.15 GMT).
