Newly promoted Cremonese are stepping up the intensity on Napoli for winger Alessio Zerbin, moving ahead of Pisa in the running.
Football Italia had already exclusively reported a few days ago that Cremonese had their sights set on the 26-year-old and that interest is only growing.
There has been an initial approach towards Napoli and now Cremonese intend to increase the pressure, hoping to get there ahead of other clubs in Serie A, above all fellow newcomers Pisa.
Zerbin always in search of playing time
Cremonese secured promotion to the top flight via the play-offs, stepping up along with Pisa and Sassuolo this summer.
As for Zerbin, he is primarily a left-sided winger who can also work on the right in an attacking role.
On Napoli’s books since 2017, he had several different loan experiences at Viterbese, Cesena, Pro Vercelli, Frosinone, Monza and most recently Venezia, who he joined in January 2025.
The player is eager to make the move to Cremonese, now the clubs must reach an agreement before giving the go-ahead.
