There was even booing at the end of Thursday night’s lacklustre 1-1 draw at home to Bournemouth.
Moyes added: ‘West Ham is a really big club, a club which is growing and getting better. We’re nudging it along, taking steps.
‘Bournemouth didn’t feel like a good step. but when you’re sixth at the moment in the position you’re in… I want to challenge, challenge for competitions.

Moyes has previously led the club to a sixth placed finish and into the last-16 of the Europa League this season
‘When I came I said to the players I don’t want to be at a club that’s in relegation trouble, that is not the plan.
‘Most of the time we’ve been away from that, at a different level. I’m trying to make West Ham as strong as I possibly can.
‘We’re doing a lot of good things, sometimes we’ll not do the right thing but we’ll always try to do the best thing.’
