Bayern Munich have provided an update on the injuries to Alphonso Davies and Hiroki Ito.
Positive news has emerged from Säbener Straße at the start of the week, with Alphonso Davies resuming ball work, and Hiroki Ito completing an individual running session while most of Bayern’s squad travels for international duty.
Both defenders have been sidelined since late March, with Davies tearing the cruciate ligament in his right knee while on duty with the Canadian national team, and Ito sustaining a fracture in his right metatarsal.
Since then, the pair have been working on their road to recovery.
After wins against RB Leipzig and Augsburg in their opening two matches of the campaign, Bayern are hoping to have the pair back in full squad training in the near future.
