Transfer Deadline Day is officially here and clubs now face a race against time to finalise their business.

Across Europe’s top five leagues, there are numerous different closing times, with the Bundesliga the first division to shut up shop.

The 2024 summer transfer window will close at 17:00 BST in Germany, followed by Serie A at 19:00 BST and Ligue 1 at 22:00 BST.

The summer transfer window in both the Premier League and La Liga ends at 23:00 BST.

Last year, there were a number of high-profile transfers that went through on summer Deadline Day.

In the Premier League, Cole Palmer joined Chelsea for €47 million, Matheus Nunes signed for Manchester City for €62m, and Tottenham Hotspur paid €55m to purchase Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson.

Meanwhile, on the continent, Joao Felix joined Barcelona on loan, Paris Saint-Germain splashed €90m on Randal Kolo Muani, and Getafe agreed a loan deal for Mason Greenwood.

On Deadline Day in January, Aston Villa signed Morgan Rogers, Bryan Zaragoza joined Bayern Munich, and Eintracht Frankfurt signed Hugo Ekitike on loan.
