Hoffenheim midfielder Dennis Geiger has joined Scottish side Aberdeen on loan.

Dennis Geiger has officially joined Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on loan from TSG Hoffenheim.
Aberdeen confirmed on Monday afternoon that the 27-year-old central midfielder will spend the remainder of the season in Scotland.
“It’s the chance for a restart, a new beginning. I want to push myself out of my comfort zone and take on this new challenge,” said Geiger, who hasn’t made a single appearance for Hoffenheim this season, in an interview on Aberdeen’s website.
“I like to be aggressive, but I believe in my technical ability. I’ve got a strong mentality. I want to win in everything I do.”
Geiger has made 147 appearances for Hoffenheim across all competitions.
