Bayern Munich have been fined €68,750 by the DFB (German football association) due to offenses committed by their fans in two cases:
The first includes a €18,750 fine for the use of at least 15 pyrotechnic devices in the game against Heidenheim on December 21.
Secondly, a €50,000 fine for the use of at least 50 pyrotechnic devices against Borussia Mönchengladbach on October 25.
The Bavarian club has yet to release a statement on the incidents, but will likely commit to paying said fines regardless.
Bayern have already copped significant fines in the Champions League this season for fan breaches against Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal.
Sanctions brought against the club’s fans even resulted in the entire Südkurve being closed for their game with Union Saint-Gilloise in January.
