After Sven Ulreich was caught on camera insulting Bayer Leverkusen boss Simon Rolfes during Saturday’s game at the Allianz Arena, the German Football League (DFL) has launched an investigation against the Bayern Munich goalkeeper.

Sven Ulreich could face repercussions for shouting insulting words at Bayer Leverkusen managing director for sport Simon Rolfes during Saturday’s 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena.

The German Football League (DFL) has opened an investigation after Ulreich was caught on camera shouting “Sit down Rolfes, you wan**r” during the game.

TZ has since reported that Bayern say Ulreich made the insult in the heat of the moment and that he has apologized for it.

Meanwhile, Rolfes has told Bild that he “neither heard nor noticed” the verbal swipe.

“Everyone is responsible for the level of their words,” he added.
