DFL sets new date for postponed match between Bayern and Union

The postponed Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich and Union Berlin will be played on January 24, the German Football League announced on Tuesday.

Last Saturday’s Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich and Union Berlin was postponed due to heavy snowfall.


Now, the German Football League (DFL) has set a new date for the game at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

In a statement on Tuesday, the DFL confirmed that the game will be played on Wednesday January 24 at 20:30 CET between the 18th and 19th matchday.

Bayern are currently second in the Bundesliga standings, three points behind Bayer Leverkusen, while Union Berlin are bottom of the table.
