Could Bayern be tempted into a move for the 2025 UEFA Champions League winner?

In a recent interview with Sport BILD, ex-Bayern Munich player Dietmar Hamann feels the Bavarians should sign Gianluigi Donnarumma.

A lot of talk has been made about the Bundesliga champions’ goalkeeper dilemma with an aging Neuer and no clear long-term successor.

“I find it hard to imagine that Alexander Nübel will play again [for Bayern]. Too much has happened.

“Whether [Jonas] Urbig is the one who will take over the goal next year, I also have my doubts. He may be a good goalkeeper, but [is he] the No.1 at Bayern?

“[Gianluigi] Donnarumma is free [agent] next year. That would be a goalkeeper, he’s only 26 – you’d have five or six years of peace there,” he explained.
