Done Deal: Nelsson all ready for Verona move from Galatasaray for total €4m

Victor Nelsson is coming back to Serie A, as after a Roma loan, the Galatasaray defender joins Hellas Verona with option to buy for €4m.

Multiple sources including Sky Sport Italia, L’Arena newspaper and Tuttomercatoweb are confident that the clubs have agreed terms.

This is believed to be a loan with option to buy at the end of the season for a total fee of circa €4m.

Nelsson returning to Serie A for Hellas Verona

The centre-back had already been in Serie A last season, joining Roma for six months from February to the end of June at a cost of €500,000.

He made little real impact with just five appearances in the Giallorossi jersey, only one in the starting XI.

The 26-year-old is a Denmark international with 16 senior caps under his belt, having made his debut in November 2020.

Nelsson is set to land in Italy on Wednesday to undergo the medical tests with Hellas Verona.
