The 2026 January transfer window is officially open and several high-profile deals are expected to be completed before the end of the month.

Antoine Semenyo is set to be one of the biggest topics of the winter window, with Manchester City poised to complete a deal for the Bournemouth winger after beating a host Premier League rivals to his signature.

However, a number of other big names could also be on the move this month, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all likely to be active in the market as they scramble to land reinforcements.

January is typically quieter than the summer, but the mid-season window can often make or break campaigns, with Paris Saint-Germain’s smart signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia last year a prime example of a deal that elevated a team and propelled them to glory.

Several winter transfers have already been confirmed, with Pascal Gross returning to Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United landing Gil Vicente striker Pablo and Celtic completing the loan signing of Julian Araujo from Bournemouth.
