Udinese are ready to achieve a double Z deal on deadline day, as after getting Alessandro Zanoli from Napoli for up to €6m, they are close to Nicolò Zaniolo from Galatasaray too.

The Friulani teased the two transfers on social media with the Z symbol of Zorro, knowing full well that it could represent either or both these players.

Zanoli is a done deal from Napoli, the versatile defender arriving on a permanent transfer for €5.5m-6m including add-ons.

He can play as a right-back, a right-sided wing-back, or a central defender, and is set to turn 25 next month.

Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia also report that Udinese have agreed a deadline day agreement with Galatasaray for Zaniolo.

It is set to be a loan, most likely with an option to buy at the end of the season.

The 26-year-old Italy international has gone on several loan experiences with Aston Villa, Atalanta and Fiorentina, but always failed to get himself a permanent transfer.
