Donnarumma set to spark transfer battle as Inter and Juventus fear Man City move

Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future is expected to be at the centre of growing speculation in the coming months, as both Inter and Juventus are reportedly keen to sign the goalkeeper on a free transfer once his contract with PSG expires. However, competition is likely to be fierce.

The Italy international’s current deal with the Ligue 1 giants runs until June 2026, but talks over an extension have stalled in recent months amid rumours that the club may be open to reducing his salary.

This has led several clubs to remain on alert, with both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri closely monitoring the situation and dreaming of bringing the former Milan star back to Serie A.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Inter have already expressed their interest in Donnarumma and would be ready to offer him a yearly salary of €9 million, including bonuses, to secure a free transfer at the end of next season.

Juventus, on the other hand, despite recently signing Michele Di Gregorio, are also believed to be considering a move. They would prefer to make a deal this summer, paying a modest fee to PSG and offering Donnarumma a lower salary than Inter.

Nonetheless, all options remain open—including a contract renewal with PSG, though Donnarumma expects any new offer to reflect the level of his performances.

Even if he were to leave the Parc des Princes, Inter and Juventus could face stiff competition from other European heavyweights such as Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

In particular, the Citizens are reportedly ready to make a concrete move for the Italian should they decide to part ways with Ederson.
