Jamie Gittens has been one of the shining lights for Borussia Dortmund in what has been a generally difficult season for the Black and Yellows.
Gittens’ performances have put him on the radar of some of Europe’s top clubs, and although he has seen his form dip since Niko Kovac took over as head coach, the BVB management are expecting a hefty transfer fee for the 20-year-old.
According to Sky Germany, Dortmund are fully expecting Gittens to leave the club this summer, with BVB reportedly hoping to receive up to €100 million for the winger.
A move for Gittens will become even more likely if Dortmund fail to qualify for the Champions League or even the Europa League, as the club would then urgently need income from player sales to compensate for not reaching their target.
In that case, the club may have to settle for a fee in the region of €60-70 million for the 20-year-old.
The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with Gittens.
