Aaron Anselmino has officially joined Borussia Dortmund on loan from Chelsea.
Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Aaron Anselmino on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea.
The Argentine centre-back arrives to bolster Dortmund’s central defence amid a series of injuries.
“Due to injuries to Emre Can, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Niklas Süle, we were forced to make adjustments in the centre-back position,” said Borussia Dortmund manging director for sport Lars Ricken.
“Aaron Anselmino has already gained top-flight experience in his home country and has great potential. Chelsea gave him an extremely long-term contract last summer for good reason.”
Anselmino, who will wear the number 28 shirt for Dortmund, added:
“I’m incredibly excited to join Borussia Dortmund and will give everything to be successful with this great club and its fantastic fans.”
