The former PSG academy talent who turned the Parisian club down for BVB, looks set to return to France.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Soumaila Coulibaly is reportedly close to a move to Strasbourg.

The Ligue 1 club will transfer €7.5 million to Borussia Dortmund while an additional €1million could be paid in bonus payments.

The agreement between the two clubs is said to be finalized with the defender set to sign a five-year contract with his hometown club.

Coulibaly has been under contract with Borussia Dortmund since the summer of 2023 where he joined from Paris Saint-Germain.

Since then, he has spent time on loan at Royal Antwerp and Stade Brest. Now, the player and Borussia are likely to part ways for good.

The 21-year-old only ever managed to make two appearances for the BVB first team against Copenhagen (2022) and VfB Stuttgart (2023).
