Radu Dragusin’s agent, Florin Manea, has confirmed that Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in the Genoa star after a fantastic start to the Serie A campaign.

Dragusin, 21, spent last season on loan at Genoa and helped the club achieve promotion from Serie B, before the deal was made permanent for €5.5 million this summer.

They currently sit 15th in Serie A and Dragusin has arguably been their most important player as they seek to avoid relegation back to the second tier of Italian football.

However, the Romania international could be on his way out in 2024 following significant interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest teams, who are looking to sign a player with certain similarities to Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.

What has been said?

Dragusin’s agent, Manea, spoke to Fanatik and admitted, via Football.London: “I have been in London for some time and have almost weekly meetings with important teams. We are getting closer.

“I spoke with Newcastle, with Arsenal, with Tottenham. I also have messages with them, conversations. There are teams that ask [about Dragusin].

“I want to say that 100 per cent by next summer, Radu will play in a not strong, very strong club! In the top 10 in the world. He wants to be in the Premier League, but I know that Milan like him a lot.

“They must first come to terms with Genoa, that their claims are very high. We have a contract extension offer on the table. We understood each other, but we said that if a club comes, which, if we like it, we want to leave and leave us for around €30m.”

Genoa’s €30m asking price for Dragusin was reported earlier this month, along with interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle, which has been confirmed by Manea.
