Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to signing Arsenal target Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace this summer.
The England international had a fantastic 2024/25 campaign with the Eagles, contributing towards 25 goals in all competitions.
Palace have qualified for the Conference League as a result, but the playmaker has his sights on Champions League football.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with the 27-year-old in recent weeks, but they are focused on outgoings to recoup funds first.
Amidst this, Spurs have progressed in talks with the Eagles for the attacker and have also agreed on personal terms with Eze too.
Spurs are now on the cusp of reaching an agreement with the Eagles for Eze. They are likely to pay around £60m with add-ons.
The news is a huge blow for the Gunners, who have been in contact with the player’s entourage over the past few weeks.
Eze had given the green light to the Gunners, but the lack of progress means that he is now prepared to join Tottenham.
