Elversberg loan in HSV winger Pherai

The Saarland club have signed the 24-year-old on a six-month loan with a potential purchase option.

SV Elversberg has strengthens its midfield with the signing of Immanuel Pherai who arrives from Hamburger SV.

Reportedly, a purchase option of €1.5million has been agreed upon for the 24-year-old only made six brief appearances for Hamburger SV. 

In return, Otto Stange’s loan is being terminated early at Elversberg and returns to Hamburg, where a previously agreed contract extension will take effect.

“Otto has given us a lot of positive impetus; he has a great career ahead of him. At the same time, we were able to create a situation from which all sides can benefit in the short, medium, and long term ,” says SVE Sporting Director Ole Book.
