SV Elversberg captain Lukas Pinckert has a release clause which activates this summer and is believed to be around €2million.
Currently, there’s interest in the defender even shortly before the transfer deadline, including from the Bundesliga as Sky Germany reports.
However, the clause only becomes active once the current 2025-26 campaign ends, so the transfer fee now is freely negotiable.
Belgian Pro League side Club Brugge has had Pinckert on their shortlist for both the winter and summer transfer windows.
So far this season, the 26-year-old has played in 15 of a possible 19 games for the Saarland club battling for promotion to the Bundesliga.
As things stand, Elversberg find themselves just one point outside the promotion play-off and four behind 2.Bundesliga leaders Schalke.
