Borussia Dortmund’s Emre Can scored the winning goal in the final seconds, giving his side a 3-2 home victory against FC St. Pauli.
The Westphalians’ captain was the first to be interviewed by Sky Germany, giving his reaction on the dramatic game at full-time:
“We need to manage that much better. We conceded two goals from set pieces. That shouldn’t happen to us.
“We’ve said that often this season. I hope we learn from it. But in the end, we won. That’s the most important thing in football.
“What could be better than scoring a goal in the last minute, in our own stadium, and then experiencing the emotions here,” he added.
Can will hope the “indescribable” feelings will carry Niko Kovač’s side into Tuesdays nights Champions League clash with Tottenham.
