Enzo Maresca toasts Chelsea’s victory over Spurs with glass of red after receiving generous gift from Lionel Messi

Enzo Maresca toasted Chelsea‘s 1-0 Premier League victory over Tottenham with a glass of wine from Lionel Messi‘s new collection.

Messi’s surprise venture into the winemaking industry resulted in two unique and high-end varieties, Syrah and Primitivo, both adorned with the words GOAT 10.

The wines are of the highest quality with the collection exclusively produced in the Italian regions of Campania, Puglia and Sicily in collaboration with MM Winemaker. 

Maresca’s side boosted their Champions League hopes after getting the better of their rivals, Argentinian captain Enzo Fernandez scoring the winner.

Fittingly, the wine Maresca was pictured enjoying after the win at Stamford Bridge is the Syrah, an Italian grape with an Argentinian influence. 

It’s the same variety seen in the hands of Messi himself just a few months ago.

Each bottle is designed to pay tribute to Messi’s legacy and features limited-edition, unpublished illustrations of the all-time great.

The designs are released in seasonal editions and are available only for a limited time.

Meanwhile, Messi is on the brink of becoming the Inter Miami’s all-time leader in goal contributions and will surpass his former national team-mate, Gonzalo Higuain.

Last weekend, Messi scored in Inter Miami’s 2–1 win over Philadelphia Union, marking his 23rd goal for his team in Major League Soccer.

Combined with his 20 assists, Messi has now contributed to 43 goals for the club, a figure that puts him level with Higuain.
