Bologna fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with 10-man Celtic tonight after a chaotic match in the Europa League.
Football Italia’s Player of the Match was Bologna midfielder Nikola Moro.
Bologna 2-2 Celtic – Player Ratings
Bologna: Skorupski 4.5; Zortea 6, Casale 6.5, Heggem 6.5, Miranda 6.5; Ferguson 6, Moro 7.5, Pobega 6.5 (Odgaard 7.5); Rowe 7.5, Dallinga 7, Dominguez 6
Best Bologna player: Nikola Moro – Was an absolute workhorse in midfield tonight, creating a plethora of chances but also tracking back to defend when needed. Stellar performance and would’ve been even better if the Rossoblu made a better job of finishing their chances.

Lowest Bologna rating: Lukasz Skorupski – An absolute howler from the goalkeeper on his first start since his injury against Napoli in November. Gifted Celtic their opener and was beaten easily for the second,
Coach: Vincenzo Italiano 6 – Could’ve wrapped up Bologna’s qualification for the play-offs with a win tonight but was left stunned by a plucky Celtic side, who were helped significantly by Skorupski. However, the coach made some decent changes and managed to salvage a point against the ten men.
Celtic: Schmeichel 6; Donovan 6, Trusty 7.5, Scales 6.5, Tierney 6.5; Engels 7, McGregor 6; Yang 6.5, Hatate 5.5, Tounekti 6.5 (Nygren 6); Maeda 7.5
Best Celtic player: Austin Trusty – The American centre-back scored the second goal tonight after the club went down to ten men and put in an absolutely resilient performance in the face of overwhelming Bologna pressure. If not for Trusty’s work, Bologna would’ve strolled to victory after the red card.

Lowest Celtic rating: Reo Hatate – After being the beneficiary to Skorupski’s early-game error, the Japanese forward faced a nightmare half when he was sent off for picking up two yellow cards. His red card swung the game on its head, despite Trusty’s goal to double the lead shortly after.
Coach: Martin O’Neill 7 – Was never going to be easy for the Irishman to take a struggling Celtic to a dangerous Bologna side but the coach set up his side well and nearly came away with a valuable three points – but a point will do.
