Roma host Athletic Club at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 and will likely rely on Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk up front.

It kicks off at 21:00 CET (20:00 GMT).

The Giallorossi must cope without the suspended Leandro Paredes, while Lucas Gourna-Douath and Anass Salah-Eddine are not on their UEFA list.

Claudio Ranieri will confirm a 3-5-2 formation. Zeki Celik is favourite over Mats Hummels in joining Gianluca Mancini and Evan N’dicka in defence.

Alexis Saelemaekers and Angelino are expected to start on the wings. Bryan Cristante and Manu Kone will get the nod in central midfield and the same is true of Dybala and Dovbyk in attack.

Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolò Pisilli compete for the last starting spot in the middle of the park. Sky Sport says Pisilli is favourite, while Gazzetta and Corriere dello Sport predict Pellegrini will start.

The Stadio Olimpico will be sold out. The Giallorossi have won 10 of the last 11 games at home across all competitions.

TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports 5 will broadcast the match live in the UK. Paramount+ will stream it live, and CBS Sports Network will televise it in the USA.
