Eljif Elmas is determined to leave RB Leipzig, but he rejected at least a couple of offers this week, because he wants a return to Torino at all costs.
The midfielder was on loan with the Granata for the last six months of the season, making quite the impact with four goals in 13 Serie A appearances for the club.
Torino had tried to negotiate a more permanent solution and found no way through the RB Leipzig wall, but now they have help from the player.
Elmas turning down everyone except Torino
We can confirm exclusively that Elmas rejected at least two offers over the last few days, because he wants Torino at all costs.
He is no stranger to Serie A, having spent several years at Napoli, and feels this is where he wants to be at this stage of his career.
We had revealed on July 26 that the Granata were on a secret mission not just to ask for Zakaria Aboukhlal, but also Elmas.
They are continuing along that path, with growing confidence.
Also because of that, Gaetano Oristanio has been put on stand-by at Venezia.
