Hans Nicolussi Caviglia is coming off a good season despite Venezia’s relegation. He is a quality midfielder but there is no concrete development regarding his future. He is certainly liked by Bologna but he is definitely not a hot name for Fiorentina.
In the transfer market, things can always change but Fiorentina are fully covered in midfield. They are not considering Nicolussi Caviglia and are instead working to unlock the contract renewal situation for Rolando Mandragora, while any future focus will likely be on other positions.
Mandragora the priority for Fiorentina over Caviglia
Mandragora, 28, has been a Fiorentina player since 2022, when he left Juventus after two years and two loan spells. Since signing for the Viola, the Italian has played 141 times in all competitions, making him ever-present for the side.
Caviglia, meanwhile, had a strong season on loan with Venezia last season, before the obligation-to-buy made his stay a permanent one this summer.
