Alexander Isak has been told that Sunday’s Carabao Cup final between Newcastle United and Liverpool is his chance to seal a big summer transfer.
Isak finds himself on the radar of both Arsenal and Liverpool ahead of the next transfer window, with speculation that he could be involved in a Premier League record deal.

The 25-year-old is in the midst of another electric season, having scored 19 times in the Premier League and added five assists to that figure.
Isak is open to signing a new deal with Newcastle, FootballTransfers has exclusively reported, but Fabrizio Romano has commented that Arsenal are “obsessed” with Isak while Liverpool are also eager to sign him as a replacement for Darwin Nunez.
“For Isak, this is his moment to shine,” former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock told FootballTransfers.
“He has the talent, but can he handle the pressure? If he performs well, bigger clubs may take notice.
“On the flip side, if he truly wants to stay at Newcastle, winning this trophy would mean everything. Either way, he will be eager to showcase his ability on the big stage.”

Indeed, he says that in Mo Salah, Liverpool already have a proven big-game performer and this game could be a showdown between the two forwards.
“This final could be decided by two star players: Isak and Salah,” he said.
“Salah has proven himself time and time again in big matches. His experience and ability to deliver when it matters most make him a major threat.”

Isak was the difference maker for Newcastle over the two legs of the semi-final against Arsenal, Warnock believes.
“Newcastle shocked many by beating Arsenal at the Emirates in the semi-finals. It was a massive result that highlighted their quality,” he added.
“Alexander Isak played a crucial role, but the overall balance of their attack made the difference. The big question for the final is whether Isak is fully fit. Without Gordon, will Harvey Barnes step up? Will Joelinton play further forward? These tactical decisions will be crucial.
“While some may have been surprised by Newcastle’s win over Arsenal, it wasn’t a huge shock. Arsenal have been inconsistent lately, and Newcastle took full advantage. It was a well-earned victory that sent a strong message.”
