FA Cup final turns ugly: Man City and Crystal Palace coaching staff SQUARE OFF during heated touchline row as tensions flare at Wembley

Manchester City‘s FA Cup final clash with Crystal Palace reached its boiling point after Daniel Munoz almost put the Eagles 2-0 up moments before the hour mark.

The wing back’s goal was ruled out after Ismaila Sarr was adjudged to have been offside in the build up, which followed in a dugout frenzy less than a minute later.

City’s head of sports medicine – Max Sala – came to blows with Palace’s assistant manager – Paddy McCarthy – with the two standing within millimetres of each other as they exchanged words in a face-off.

Pep Guardiola tried to drag his man away from the row, but Sala continued to exchange words with McCarthy before eventually taking a seat.

One of City’s sports scientists – Chris Elderkin – came in between the two coaches and broke up the spat.

As they made their way towards their respective benches, their war of words continued as both men gesticulated at one another on their way to their seats.
