The 2025/26 Bundesliga Fantasy season brings a fresh set of rules, scoring tweaks, and brand-new features to keep managers on their toes. From point system adjustments to daily login rewards and enhanced game modes, here’s everything you need to know to stay ahead of the competition.
The wait is almost over; the new Bundesliga season kicks off on the 22nd of August with a Friday night battle between the re-crowned champions Bayern and the Red Bulls from Leipzig.
A new season also means a new fantasy game with several changes made to player prices, point scoring and more.
Price changes
The fantasy game gained a lot of popularity in the last year, but one notable area for improvement was the static player pricing. A player who was cheap but scored a lot of points, like Omar Marmoush before his transfer to Manchester City, remained in the same price category.
This year, it has been announced that prices will change after each matchday based on player performance. It is not clear yet how exactly this will be determined, but it adds more depth to the game and rewards managers who pick breakout players early before their value rises.
Point system
There haven’t been many changes to the point system overall, except for a few adjustments that benefit strikers and goalkeepers.
Goalkeepers will get 35 points for a save instead of 30 last year. This could make a difference if a goalkeeper manages to make multiple saves in one game. However, it’s still probably not the year yet to spend too much of your budget on this position.
For strikers, it could be more impactful. They will now receive the same points as midfielders for a goal (100P), a duel won (7P) and a successful dribble (7P). This could make those assets far more attractive, especially forwards with favourable matchups or a high goal-per-game ratio, like Harry Kane.
Streak feature
A new addition to this year’s game is the ‘Streak feature’. Every day you log in, you’ll earn a small boost to your transfer budget. The daily bonus increases over seven consecutive days and can reach up to 500,000 extra budget per week. This rewards consistent engagement but also has downsides for casual players who might not have time to log in daily. Still, if you are aiming to climb to the top of your friend’s league or even the global league, this budget boost could be crucial.
Transfers
Like last year, you can make up to 5 transfers each week – but as something new for 2025/26, you can now cancel your transfers anytime up until kickoff of the first match in a matchday. This gives managers more flexibility to react to late injuries or lineup changes.
Unlimited transfer windows will open during international breaks and over winter break.
First international break: After Matchday 2
Second international break: After Matchday 6
Third international break: After Matchday 10
Winter break: After Matchday 15
Fourth international break: After Matchday 27
Prizes
The Bundesliga has even more prizes for the top managers than last year. As we already know from previous seasons, each matchday, the highest-scoring manager will win a signed shirt from a Bundesliga club. At the end of the season, the overall winner will receive two tickets to a match of their choice, along with additional prizes.
Managers who finish in the top 25 will earn rewards such as signed kits and the official Bundesliga match ball. And if you join in later in the season, there will be a Second Chance League with its own set of prizes. Additionally, there are new brand partnerships with “OneFootball”, where you can win your club’s favourite scarves, and with “EA”, which gives away the new FC26 for the most points after matchday 4.
