Turkish media report that Fenerbahce have sent directors to attend Italy vs. Norway this evening, scouting players from both nations for future transfers.

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 GMT and is the final game of Group I in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Although a home victory would put them level on points, only a 9-0 result could overturn the huge gap in goal difference and snatch top spot from Norway.

In an intriguing story, Turkish transfer pundit Yagiz Sabuncuoglu and Sports Digitale claim that Fenerbahce will be in attendance at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan with director Ertan Torunogullari.

It is reported that he will be keeping a close eye on several players from both Italy and Norway, hoping to scout them for future Fenerbahce transfer dealings.

The Azzurri are set to return to a 3-5-2 formation, having rotated the squad for Thursday’s 2-0 victory in Moldova.

Andrea Cambiaso and Sandro Tonali are rested due to yellow cards, but Davide Frattesi is expected to start.
