Fortuna Düsseldorf complete Lenz coup

The experienced full-back has made the switch to Die Fortuna.

Christopher Lenz has put pen to paper for second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf

The 30-year-old joins the 2.Bundesliga outfit from TSG Hoffenheim for whom he only made two appearances.

Düsseldorf have not disclosed the details of the contract agreement with the German full-back.

Fortuna sporting director Klaus Allofs said: “With Christopher, we are gaining an experienced player who has been under contract with established Bundesliga clubs in recent years but hasn’t played regularly recently.

“We expect him to bring new impetus to our left side and pass on his experience at a high level to our young players.”
