Francisco Conceicao went viral for a video where he seemed to be insulting Luciano Spalletti and had to be calmed by Juventus teammate Dusan Vlahovic, but it is not what it seems.

The incident occurred after Conceicao was substituted in today’s 0-0 draw with Torino, a tense Derby della Mole with a disappointing result for the Bianconeri.

The clip showed the Portuguese talent angrily gesturing and waving his arm while seated on the bench, then Vlahovic tried to calm him down with a hug.

Conceicao anger on Juventus bench

This went viral online, with many suggesting he was angry at the substitution and aiming those insults towards his coach.

However, Football Italia understands that Conceicao was irritated at a cameraman getting too close and almost tripping him up as he made his way back to the bench.
