Frankfurt expect to complete Dōan deal with 48 hours, per Sky Germany

The Japanese winger is set to complete his move to Frankfurt this week.

Negotiations between Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg over Ritsu Dōan are entering the decisive stage. 

However, Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has reported that there has been no breakthrough yet. 

An official agreement between the Breisgauers and the Hessen giants is expected within the next 48 hours.

Dōan, who only turned 27-years-old in mid-June, will cost Frankfurt at least €20million as a fixed fee with possible further bonuses.

The Japanese international secured a verbal agreement with Frankfurt weeks ago with a contract until 2030 already in place.

Last season, Dōan was one of Freiburg’s best performers with 10 goals and 7 assists in 34 Bundesliga matches.
