Frankfurt linked with Croatia’s ‘next Modric’

Die Adler could be adding more talent to their ranks with a transfer target drawing comparisons to the great Luka Modric.

FussballTransfers are reporting that Frankfurt are in talks with Dinamo Zagreb’s Martin Baturina. 

The Croatian midfielder is keen to take the next step in his career, with the Bundesliga a favourite destination.

It is believed that Baturina and his advisors, whose friend Igor Matanovic plays for Die Adler, have their sights set on the Hessen club.

The 22-year-old has already been dubbed the ‘new Modric’ according to experts in Croatia. 

Baturina, whose contract runs until 2028, could be a replacement for Hugo Larsson should he join Manchester City who are keen to acquire him.
