Frankfurt on the brink of signing Dōan

Die Adler are on the verge of signing the SC Freiburg attacker.

According to FußballTransfers information, the transfer of Ritsu Dōan to Eintracht Frankfurt is nearing completion.

While a full agreement has been reached with the winger, Frankfurt and SC Freiburg have also made significant progress in negotiations.

The transfer fee is expected to be around €18million, with only a few details remain to be clarified before the move goes through.

A breakthrough came courtesy of Hugo Ekitiké’s move to Liverpool FC, with a chunk of the €95million fee used to sign Dōan.

Numerous clubs have been pursuing Ritsu Doan (27) in recent months, including Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

However, it became clear that the 57-time international would most likely join the Hessen state club who returns to the Champions League.
